■What is pollution?
-the presence in or introduction into the environment of a substance which has harmful or poisonous effects 
■Pollution are different types like
●water pollution
●air pollution
●soil pollution
●sound pollution
1.water pollution :- 
■Definition of water pollution :- If some unwanted, harmful or poisonous substance are persent in that water body than it called water pollution.
■Causes :-causes of water pollution can be divided in to division’s
■Natural Reasons:- When water is polluted by some natural cause like volcanic eruption ,algae, flood etc.
●Volcanic Eruption:- Some of the volcano’s are located in ocean. Whenever the underwater volcano erupt it discharges large amount of toxic gas and lava. Some of the gases are also radioactive .The lava is freeze by the low temperature of ocean’s water and turned into solid ,but the gases are mixed with water and causes massive damage to that area’s water environment and it also causes death of that area’s water creature’s .
●Flood:- When a flood happen there are no water body’s left with drinkable water in that area. Because all the drinkable water body’s are mixed with salt water and nasty substance. So temporary that areas soil and water body’s are polluted by flood.
●Algae:- neutrient pollution can be dead zones areas in water with little or no oxygen. Where aquatic life can’t survive .it also known as hypoxia, these are the caused by algal blooms consuming oxygen as they die and decompose.
■Man Made Reasons:- Man made reasons are industrial waste ,domestic waste, radioactive waste.
●Industrial waste :- industrial wastes are those wastes that comes from different industry and it content toxic substance. It mixed with water body’s and makes them polluted.
●Domestic waste;- Domestic waste are those wastes that produced by our houses,office,club,school,collage,etc. this wastes are mostly non toxic but some of them are toxic. Fruit’s skin ,plastic and E-waste are most of it .
●Radio-Active waste:- Radio Active wastes are those wastes that comes from nuclear power plants and some of nuclear tests. It is highly harmful and dangerous for humans and animals. Nuclear radiation can also cause cancer and many more critical decease. When some of nuclear wastes are thrown in open environment it causes massive damage to that area’s environment and kills animals and human slowly but for a long time.
■Effects of water pollutions- water is a very essential to every living creature on this earth. If somehow water gets polluted and water sources become contaminated due to pollution then the results will be like human health issues like cancer ,cardiovascular conditions, Blackfoot disease etc
2.Air Pollution:-
■Definition Of Air Pollution:- Air pollution is a massive problem for present world. Air pollutions is a mixture of solid particles and gases in the air .Car emissions, chemicals from factories ,dust, pollen and mold spores may be suspended as a particles.
■Causes of Air Pollution:- The causes of Air Pollutions can be divided in two divisions – Natural and Man-Made.
□Natural Causes of Air Pollution:-
●Volcanic eruption:- Whenever volcanic eruptions happen a large amount of toxic gases ,ash, co2, Methane, are releases in the atmosphere and make it unbearable for every living creatures.
●Wild-fires:- Whenever a wildfire happens in jungle there are many trees and animals are burnt out in that fire so a massive amount of co2 is releases in the atmosphere and that causes have Air pollution.
□Man-Made Reasons:-
●Car and Truck Exhaust:- The smoke that releases from the car and truck exhaust that content carbon ,co2,carbon Monoxide, sulfur dioxide, etc. It causes the damage to the natural sun shield, ozone layer and make holes in it.
●Factories :- factories are one of the biggest reasons of air pollution .Sulfur dioxide, Carbon monoside,nitrogen dioxide are releases in the air by many of factories and that causes heavy air pollution.
●Nuclear Power Plants:- The gases are that exhaust from the nuclear power plants those are highly toxic and that directly mixed in atmosphere and causes heavy damage.
●Mining:- The area’s are under mining work those produce lots of dust ,pollen etc and make air polluted.
●Effects of Air pollution:- Air pollution causes asthma, lung cancer, Alzheimer and Parkinson’s diseases.
3.Soil Pollution:-
■Definition of soil pollution:- soil pollution is a part of land degradation is caused by presence of xenobiotics chemicals or other alteration in the natural soil environment.
■Causes of soil pollution:- causes of soil pollution can be divided in two divisions – man-made and natural
□Natural reasons of soil pollution:-
●Acid rain:- Acid rain is one of the major reasons of soil pollution .when acid rain happen the soil become acidic and slowly it become unable to grow new plants.
●Volcanic eruption:- When volcanic eruption happen lava and ash surrounded that areas soil and make it unusable .
□Man Made Reasons:-
●Industrial activity:- By the waste of industrial activity’s the soil is becoming unusable and polluted.
●Agricultural activity:- Farming in unscientific way causes heavy damage to soil and slowly makes it unusable for farming.
■Effects of soil pollution:- Effects of soil pollution is increasing the unusable land and decreasing usable land and in future it will definitely bring food crisis.
4.Sound pollution :-
■Definition of sound pollution:- sound pollution is the propagation of noise with ranging impacts on the activity of human or animal life, most of them harmful to a degree.
■Causes of sound pollution:-
●Traffic noise
●Air traffic noise
●Construction sites
●Festival over loud sound etc.
●Effects of sound pollution:- The side effects of sound pollution is , less hearing problem, anger issu etc.
