Whta wii Be The Impacts of West Bengal's Transport Minister Firhad Hakim's Unique Concept Of CNG Powered Buses?

In 10th August  The West Bengal's honorable transport minister Firhad Hakim  publishes his unique concept of CNG powered buses. Really it is a great idea to avoid air pollution and global warming.

By his unique concept of CNG buses ,estimated that ,now the transport costs will be reduce upto 50% , and really it is good for the common people specially in this pandemic situation , because every rupee matters.  Today  the honorable transport minister Firhad Hakim himself drives a CNG powered bus from Cosba to Ruby . After 30 years he drives a heavy vehicle.



He is really excited about it and why not? It is a very good idea to decrease transport cost, pollution and global warming causes harmful gases. For now only 2 CNG powered buses will be tested in Kolkata for next few months, if it works, then 700 state transport buses will convert into CNG powered buses. 

●To understand what is the good effect of CNG powered buses first we have to understand what is CNG , CNG means Compressed Natural Gas. Which is mainly methane . Compressed at a pressure of 200 to 248 bars. It is much safer than gasoline and more cost effective than gasoline. 
CNG can be found in crude oill reservoirs either devolved or conjunction with crude oill deposits . It's biggest plus point is it can be produced . Bio CNG is the produced form of bio gases . The bio CNG  plant located in kolar dist of karnataka can produce 1.6 tonnes of bio CNG per 40 tonnes of wet waste.

●Now the main question is what is the pros/advantages of CNG ?

1. It is much safer than gasoline. 
2. It is much cost effective than gasoline.
3. It can be produced in bio way.
4. It is an eco-friendly gas.
5. It can replace the harmful gases .
6. It can take the place of gasoline. 
7. It is more better for car engine.

● Cons/disadvantages of CNG -

1. Limited ability. 
2. Lower performance.
3. It can cause engine injector issues.

● So how effective will be the idea of The West Bengal's Honorable Transport Minister Firhad Hakim's about CNG powered buses ?

1. It is estimated that this idea of the West Bengal's honorable transport minister Firhad Hakim's CNG powered buses will reduce the transport costs upto 50%.

2. The city pollution will be decreased by this concept. 

3. The CNG powered buses are more safer than gasoline buses.

4. It will be more profitable for transport department and for public both. 

5. According to the honorable transport minister Firhad Hakim, they are not purchasing new CNG buses. They are converting diesel powered buses into CNG powered buses. So there will lots of money will be saved here . Because we are not purchasing new CNG buses we are converting our buses from diesel powered to CNG powered.

6 . We are not a abandoning our old buses we are converting them to CNG buses. The honorable transport minister Firhad Hakim is trying to convert 700 diesel powered state transport buses in CNG powered buses. 

7. The honorable transport minister Firhad Hakim is hopeful that this project will be helpful for public, who travels daily in buses. 


At the end we can say that West Bengal's honorable transport minister Firhad Hakim takes a futuristic and effective step in West Bengal's transport services.
